Akshardhara Foundation was started as a non profitable organisation for organising education related grants to schools in tribal community. The Schools in these tribal communities lacked basic necessities like proper class rooms, bathrooms and Stationary which is necessary for basic understanding and learning. Seeing over there agony Akshardhara Foundation stood up and provided them with all the basic needs. It was a good abode for the schools and Akshardhara Foundation was very keen towards doing this job and was fulfilling all the needs.
While everything was going right there came a wave of darkness and fear which ravaged the lives of everyone on Planet Earth. There was fear and panic all around. People who were dependent on others lost shelter had nothing to eat and were facing difficulties to survive. Akshardhara Foundation then changed gears and started to plan something for all of those people whose lives were affected by the Global Pandemic.
We formed a joint ally with Isckon Annaamrita trust to help these in need. We made fresh nutritious Khichdi and gave it to everyone in need. Mainly people who came here for treatment and their relatives were our main target for help. We have been doing this act of kindness since the past 18 Month with almost 350-400 daily meals provided to each and everyone. We believe that the upliftment of everyone will make a contribution of uplifting the whole country and being a part of all these things makes a person pure by heart.
